One of Shakespeare's most masculine plays. The decision to stage with an all female cast highlights the theme of war and division. The color palette shows a clear division between the three worlds that of the Percy Rebellion, King Henry's Court, and Falstaff's tavern world. The armor (made from industrial felt) was flexible for a female body and movable, allowing plenty of fighting onstage. Taking inspiration from Brit punk, modern daywear, and a mixture of medieval clothing, we created a world less about gender and more about the dehumanization of mankind at war.
