What does it mean to be "normal" or "sick"? These costumes explore color theory and how we view wellness through color, unifying all 6 ten minute plays together by creating a consistent theme through color palette. The clothing individualizes through its architecture, its layers, line, shape, and accessories, while unifying all characters through the empathetic white. The use of white created a clinical world and alienated characters as the exceptional pop of color influenced the idea of alienation and normalcy. This created a highly stylized world that linked the six ten-minute plays together where the silhouette distinguished each play and character from another. New York Premiere, new work.
