The costumes used the most common representations of each character, making them recognizable to the audience. Movable fabrics were used to allow freedom of movement for the actors. The fit exaggerated their body types to create a more childlike silhouette for the actor without overpowering her physically and distracting from facial expressions. The one exception: Snoopy was played by a female and dressed more of an adult in a midlife crisis. She was given jodhpurs to create the line of the leg of a dog and tie into her character of the red baron with pigtails for ears.
